Eloise Tweeten
founder, Tweeten Eldercare Advisors

Eloise lives life with passion, purpose, and a commitment to serving others. Raised the daughter of a family physician and granddaughter of a Lutheran minister, strong personal ethics and the value of service were instilled in her from a young age.

She was first introduced to senior living options and decisions as a consumer. Her father, Kent, and aunt Ruth, both needed 24 hour supervision in their early '90s after sudden health changes, and the family scrambled to find appropriate care options on short notice.  The challenges Eloise encountered while trying to manage her aunt's care in Tucson, Arizona by long distance inspired her to provide this needed service to other elders and their families.  Kent chose a continuing care community near his home in Madison, Wisconsin, and Ruth chose a smaller care home in Tucson.

Ms. Tweeten first worked with seniors as a dietary aid at a nursing home when she was 16.  From that time forward, she knew that she wanted to work in a "people" profession.  Eloise holds a bachelors degree in psychology/human development and masters degree in business from the University of Wisconsin.  Her professional background includes over 30 years’ experience in human services, combined with first hand knowledge of the difficult and often sudden decisions facing families when independent living for a loved one is no longer an option.  As part of her continuing education, she is certified as a residential care administrator (to keep abreast of licensing regulations), and is actively involved in the local Section on Aging to monitor changes in the field and be a resource provider for clients.  She also serves on the board of directors for a continuing care retirement community (CCRC).
